Rector’s Welcoming Speech
Assalam Mualaikum Wr. Wb.
By giving thanks to the presence of Allah SWT and because of His mercy and blessing, the International Conference Proceeding organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang University can be completed properly.
This proceeding is a compilation of researchs’ articles by academics and researchers that have previously been presented on a callpaper session at the Dr. Wahidin Street, Arus Hotel on November 18, 2022, in a package with the implementation of the International Conference. The theme of the International Conference is “Innovation, Technology, and Sustainable Economy Challenges, Practices, and Opportunites.”
In accordance with the theme carried out in this conference and callpaper, the publishing of this proceeding is intended for the dissemination of research results and studies in the fields of socio-economics, management, and accounting. Besides being a source of new information, this proceeding is also expected to be a media of communication and cooperation between academics and researchers from various universities in Indonesia that support the strengthening of the role and function of higher education in accelerating innovation and technology for the realization of organizational sustainability, both business and non-business.
On this occasion, I as the rector of 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang University expressed my deepest gratitude to academics and researchers for the work and contributions of thoughts presented in the form of papers and scientific presentations. I also expressed my gratitude to the organizers of the event.
Hopefully this proceeding can be an additional insight in supporting the development of science and technology in Indonesia, especially in strengthening the role of higher education in the development of science and technology (IPTEK).

Praise to Allah SWT, God Almighty who continues to pour mercy and grace to us all, and with His permission that this International seminar and Call For Papers can be held. This International seminar and Call For Papers is expected give benefit and become a medium for researches, used to follow the lastest trend from a research theme, expand the network and introducing our selves to the research community.
It is hoped that academics knowledge sharing and publications in International Conference on Business and Economics (ICBE) 2022 will promote a more positive image in the area Business, Economics and contribute to the development of policies and measures necessary for developing countries to improve its economic competitiveness.
We thanks to all authors and participants for their contributions for the success of ICBE 2022 at Aruss Hotel Semarang. The conference would nor have been possible without the tremendous support provided by all commit tee from FEB UNTAG Semarang. Hope this seminar can be done well and success.
